Funny name for a girl but everyone thought I was going to be a
boy because I was always big, had a bit of a comb and just really
naughty. I'm the best chicken in the garden.

This is me just seconds after hatching. I look tiny
but I was much bigger than all the others.

Just 4 days old and I've got these bold
white stripes down my back. I'm much prettier than all
the others.

11 days old and I've got lots of wing
feathers and my tail is starting to grow. You can see now
why everyone thought I was going to be a boy.

Now 6 weeks old and it's mum's birthday so we've been
kicked out of the house into our new home in the garden.
It's a bit scary and cold but it's good to have some independence
you know.

13 weeks now and pretty much full grown. I'm the boss
of the brood, the cockerel thinks he is but we all know
better.
